As últimas semanas aferiram a viabilidade da candidatura de Sérgio Moro. O teste foi negativo.

Poderosos grupos de comunicação fizeram o possível para viabilizá-lo como terceira via. De saída, a ideia seduziu parte dos eleitores que buscavam uma variante às candidaturas de Lula e Bolsonaro. O ex-juiz, o cara que condenou um e rompeu com o outro, parecia servido sob encomenda para cumprir a função.

Posta na vitrine, porém, a novidade do mercado político não agregou interessados. Estacionou no ponto de partida. Pior do que isso, a terceira via dessa aposta mostrou ter pista curta e esburacada. Como viabilizar um candidato detestado pelos eleitores de Lula porque ele foi o juiz que o condenou e pelos de Bolsonaro porque ele foi o ministro que o traiu? Como transformá-lo em opção por qualquer dos dois lados? Como colocar a terceira via no segundo turno desse jeito? Não bastasse isso, se o candidato do PODEMOS foi um juiz com a cara da função, como político, é um peixe fora d’água.

Moro pré-candidato exibiu uma fragilidade alarmante. Por seus últimos trabalhos como juiz, ele sabe tudo sobre as organizações criminosas que operaram durante os governos petistas. Em relação a seu oponente Lula, ele leu os inquéritos policiais. Ouviu testemunhas, delatores, procuradores e advogados. Examinou minuciosamente todas as provas, em processos de dezenas de réus. Puxou o fio da meada e não deu ponto sem nó. Por esse trabalho conquistou enorme reconhecimento.

Depois de deixar tudo de lado para participar de um governo com cujas ideias não concordava, saiu dele atirando para, passivamente, assistir ao STF desmantelar o processo de sua vida. Sabe quase tudo de Lula. E nada diz? Jogou pá de cal e coloca pedra em cima do que sabe? Incompreensível e eu agregaria, imperdoável.

Por tudo isso, nos grandes grupos de comunicação, a turma da terceira via começa a espichar os olhos e bater pestana para o brutamontes Ciro Gomes, peixe mais graúdo, que costuma morrer pela boca e tem antiga inimizade com a coerência.
